Your walk with God

What we need, is a man who knows how to walk with God.

One who is in active fellowship with God can achieve great things in his life as well as in his church. He can also change whatever adverse situations that are prevalent around him. The life of David as a boy is the greatest example of what our daily walk with the Lord can do in our lives and ministry. We read in I Samuel.17:11& 52, the totally demoralized Israeli army under the leadership of King Saul, was turned into a victorious one, because of what David did to Goliath.

David was not a soldier; neither he knew any thing about the warfare at that time of his life. But he knew the Lord very personally. The lonely hours of taking care of those sheep in the wilderness, helped him to be in touch with God all the time. When the lion and the bear came, he did not have to prepare himself specially to fight with those animals. By then he had known the Lord very much. It came naturally in him to defeat those animals and save those few sheep, because he was fully ready for any event. The reason is that in the wilderness, he was praising, worshipping, praying and walking before God, while he was tending the sheep. That quality time with the Lord, developed David as a warrior, soldier, psalmist, song writer and more. The Bible calls him prudent in I Sam.16:18. Yes, the Spirit of the Lord in him, gave him prudence in all matters. So he became smarter and valiant day by day.

When our walk with the Lord is clean and steady, we will become vibrant in all matters. No matter we live in cities or in villages. We will be ready for any opportunity that the Lord would graciously grant us to have. Goliath was an opportunity for David given by God. How we handle the opportunities, that will propel us up to higher glory. Yes, David was not physically stronger to defeat Goliath; but spiritually he was. It is the spirit in Him that made him a victor, clubbed with his confidence in God that God helped him in the past with those animals and He would do it again. His victory over Goliath came because of his walk with the Lord. Because of the victory, even the fearful Jewish army under the leadership of a backsliding king, became a victorious one. Do you know that you can turn your church members into a mighty army for God? Your walk with the Lord will determine the growth of your church and the increase of your blessing even in finance.

Do you want you to become victorious in all the ways?
Do you want to be prosperous in whatever you do?

Please read Psalm 1:3 Whatsoever he doeth, shall prosper”. Your walk with the Lord will decide that. Do not blame others. It is not worth blaming any body else for success. It is not the money, the contacts that you have, your organization or any other thing that will determine your success. It is your clean, unquestionable and committed life that will set the trend.

So it is time for you to tighten the loose ends of your life. Some of you may have to stop doing certain things for a season that you have been doing all these years, and seek the face of the Lord for a period of time. May God bless you and make you a blessings for otherts! “Be ye holy, for I am holy”.
