The best Bible translation

A few people were arguing about the best translation of the Bible. The first person argued that the King James Version (KJV) is the best. The second said that the New International version (NIV)is simple to follow and it is the best. As the others too argued for their favorite Bible translation, there was one who shared a different view. He said that the best translation of God's word that he has ever seen is the life of his boss. He said that his boss lived his life according to the Bible. He put everything that he learned into action. His life was a blessing to others.

Today we may learn the best of theology, the best of Bible commenteries and could probably listen to the best of sermons and songs. If they do not assimilate in our hearts and bear fruits of love, joy, kindness and humility, then everything that we learn is of no use to our soul.

As James 2:26 says

"26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. "

Today, let us analyze our lives. Let us find out whether we are really a witness to Christ. Are we translating each and every preaching of Jesus Christ into our life?. If not, don't be disheartened. Our loving God knows our heart. Let us ask him to help us live a life of faith that tranlsates into action in every area of our life.

The apostle Paul says in Philippians, Phillipians 4:9
"Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
